The seller enters into and performs the purchase contract in the course of its business activity. The buyer is a consumer or a business who places an order through the store.
2. Order and conclusion of the purchase contract
By submitting an order, the buyer confirms that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions. The purchase contract is concluded once the buyer submits the order and the seller subsequently confirms it by e-mail to the address given in the order.
All product presentations in the store are for informational purposes only, and the seller is not obliged to conclude a purchase contract regarding such goods.
3. Prices and payment terms
All product prices in the store include VAT and are valid for as long as they are displayed in the store. Payment can be made online by card or another payment method shown in the cart during checkout.
4. Delivery terms
Goods are delivered via Zásilkovna. Delivery within the Czech Republic is free. Delivery to other European Union countries is subject to a shipping fee; the exact price and estimated delivery time (2–8 business days) are shown in the cart before the order is completed, based on the destination country.
Orders are typically dispatched within 2–3 business days of payment being received. The buyer is notified by e-mail with a tracking number once the shipment is sent.
5. Withdrawal from the contract and returns
In accordance with Section 1829 of the Civil Code, a buyer who is a consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the goods.
To withdraw from the contract, the buyer contacts the seller at info@metromood.store and returns the goods to the seller's registered address, undamaged, unworn, and if possible in the original packaging together with proof of purchase.
The buyer bears the costs of returning the goods. The seller will refund the buyer the purchase price received (including the cheapest delivery method offered) without undue delay, no later than 14 days after withdrawal from the contract, using the same payment method used by the buyer, unless agreed otherwise.
6. Rights from defective performance (complaints)
The seller warrants that the goods are free of defects upon receipt and that no defects will occur during the statutory 24-month warranty period from receipt. Should a defect occur, the buyer may file a complaint at info@metromood.store with a description of the defect and proof of purchase. The seller will resolve the complaint without undue delay, no later than 30 days from the date it was filed.
The warranty does not cover wear and tear from normal use, nor defects caused by mechanical damage, misuse, or failure to follow the care instructions listed in the product description.
7. Privacy policy
The seller processes the buyer's personal data (name, address, e-mail, phone, and, where applicable, payment details passed securely through the payment gateway) in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), for the purpose of processing the order, fulfilling the purchase contract, and complying with legal obligations (e.g. accounting).
With the buyer's consent, e-mail addresses are also used to send marketing communications (newsletter); this consent can be withdrawn at any time via the link in the e-mail or by writing to info@metromood.store.
The buyer has the right to:
- access their personal data,
- correct inaccurate data,
- request erasure of data (where compatible with the seller's legal obligations),
- object to the processing and file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection.
The store uses technically necessary cookies for the cart and checkout to function; these are always active. The store also uses Microsoft Clarity to analyze on-site behavior and the Meta Pixel to measure traffic and run ads — both only load after consent is given via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by resetting your browser or writing to info@metromood.store.
8. Out-of-court dispute resolution
Should a consumer dispute arise between the seller and the consumer that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, the consumer may submit a proposal for out-of-court dispute resolution to the designated body, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz), or use the online dispute resolution platform available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
9. Final provisions
These terms and conditions take effect on the date of their publication, and the seller reserves the right to amend them to a reasonable extent. For an order placed before a change to the terms, the version in effect at the time it was submitted applies.
